The Canberra Raiders will once again wear a specially sponsored jersey in New Zealand this Friday night, with PalmerBet to give up their placement on the back of the Raiders NRL jersey to support the Canberra Hospital Foundation.
The PalmerBet logo will be replaced by the Supporting Children message for the Canberra Hospital Foundation on the back of the NRL jersey and on the Raiders post-match press conference banner.
Due to restrictions on advertising overseas gambling in New Zealand, PalmerBet have collaboratively worked with the Raiders to offer Canberra Hospital Foundation branding rights on the players jerseys this week.
The jerseys worn in the corresponding match against the Warriors at Mt Smart Stadium in 2023 were auctioned off earlier this year to raise over $6000 for the Canberra Hospital Foundation.
This year, 20 jerseys will be available exclusively for Raider’s members through Raiders Shop, with members having the opportunity to purchase directly for a flat fee of $665.
The 18 jerseys worn in the match will be available, with each player individually signing their numbered jersey. There will also be a jersey signed by Coach Ricky Stuart and a fully signed team jersey available.
The jerseys will be available from 6.00pm on Wednesday March 20, with 2024 Raiders members to be sent an email with a link to purchase. These will be available until all sold on a first come first serve basis.
PalmerBet Partnerships Manager Leigh Dalton said their looking forward to continuing the support for the Canberra Hospital Foundation.
"PalmerBet are delighted to once again replace their logo on the Raiders jersey with the Canberra Hospital Foundation logo. The Raiders management team have been instrumental in assisting us with this process and the feedback from the CHF has been fantastic. We also look forward to the sale of these special edition jerseys to help raise much needed funds for the CHF"
