The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg Cup sides will both travel away this weekend in hope of holding their top two positions on the ladder.

NSW Cup

Following on from a nail-biting 26-20 loss to the Bulldogs last weekend, the Raiders will look to bounce back in a top four clash against the Bears.

Last weekend saw impressive performances from Nick Cotric and Adam Cook, aiding the team to a half time lead.

Canberra began this season on fire with a 4-1 record to start the season, conceding their first loss of the year on the weekend.

Last time these sides met was in round 26 of last season, where the Raiders defeated the Bears 36-16. 

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup side will look to return to the winner's circle, when they face the Melbourne Storm in Victoria.

Last weekend Jaxon Lavender helped the team with his effort to reach the try-line both in the first and second halves. 

They have begun the 2024 season with a 5-1 record and will be keen to remain consistent throughout.

Both sides last met was in round 26 of last season, where the Raiders defeated the Melbourne Storm 20-16, eyeing off a repeat win this year.
