The Canberra Raiders will auction off 20 player cut 2024 ANZAC Round Jerseys, to raise money for the Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation thanks to match day sponsor Defence Housing Australia.
Kookaburra Kids offers a program for current and former ADF families. The program dedicated to supporting the unique needs of children from serving and ex-serving ADF families.
The Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation delivers the Defence Kids Program across Australia, which provides camps, activity days and age-appropriate mental health education focusing on coping skills and resilience, while allowing children to bond with peers who are facing similar challenges.
As part of the match day sponsorship, Defence Housing Australia has given the Australian Kookaburra Kids the opportunity to receive the proceeds from the jersey auction.
In total there will 20 jerseys available for auction through www.allbids.com.au , with jerseys 1-18 individually signed by the player who wears that number in the game. Two additional jerseys will be auctioned, with one fully signed by the team who play in the match and one by Raiders Coach Ricky Stuart.
The auction will commence at 7.00pm on Tuesday April 23 once the team has been announced and will conclude on Saturday April 27 from 7.00pm ahead of Sunday’s ANZAC Round match between the Raiders and Sharks at GIO Stadium Canberra.
