The Raiders NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg sides travel to Sydney in good form for an exciting double header on Saturday afternoon at 4 Pines Park.
Jersey Flegg Cup
The Raiders Jersey Flegg side will be kicking off Saturday’s excitement, taking on the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles at 12:15pm.
Following a strong 30-16 win against the Cronulla Sutherland Sharks last week, the Raiders will be looking to carry over this momentum into round nine.
Canberra currently sit at the top of the ladder, securing seven wins from eight games.
Winger Prinston Esera was a standout last week, reaching the try line twice in the first half. The Raiders team list remains largely unchanged, except for Jesse Limon coming in for Siamani Leuluai on the wing.
Manly are fresh off a 26-16 loss to Parramatta at 4 Pines Park last Saturday so there’s no doubt the side will be hungry for redemption at home this weekend.
This will be the seventh time these teams have gone head-to-head, with the Raiders claiming four wins over the Sea Eagles two.

The Raiders NSW Cup side will follow at 1:45pm when they face the Blacktown Workers Sea Eagles.
Last week, Canberra claimed an impressive 42-12 victory over the Newtown Jets at GIO Stadium Canberra. A strong second half saw the Raiders score 30 points in the final 40 minutes to help secure the win.
The Raiders will be looking to carry over this good form as they travel to Sydney this Saturday afternoon.
There will be a few changes made to the Raiders line-up this week, with Albert Hopoate and Nick Cotric returning to the NRL team in the place of Chevy Stewart and James Schiller respectively.
The Sea Eagles NSW Cup team will be looking to make amends this weekend, after going down 36-22 to the Parramatta Eels last Sunday.
Manly’s line-up for this week sees a few changes to their forward pack, namely Dean Matterson, who will miss this Saturday's match due to suspension.
This will be the seventh matchup between these teams, with the Raiders claiming four wins over the Sea Eagles two.
