Round six of the Canberra Raiders Cup features four exciting match ups across the region this weekend as the competition continues to take shape.

West Belconnen Warriors vs Yass Magpies, 3:00pm Saturday at Raiders Belconnen

This Yass Magpies will be travelling this Saturday as they face the West Belconnen Warriors at Raiders Belconnen.

After suffering their first defeat of the season at the hands of the Queanbeyan Kangaroos, the Warriors will be eager to bounce back at home this weekend.

Despite the loss, the Warriors displayed resilience and determination, keeping pace with the defending premiers for much of the match.

"You just can't give an opposition like that too much cheap ball, first half we were right in the game, but there were too many errors on our behalf and they're a good side that'll make you pay," said Warriors captain-coach Ryan McQueen.

The Yass Magpies are entering the contest well-rested following a bye week. There’s no doubt the Magpies will be looking to capitalise on the week off and secure a vital victory on the road.

"The focus for us has just been getting guys back on the park," said Yass coach Adam Kyle.

"Just making sure that guys are getting best prepared to get on the field every week and put your body in front.

"Difference between reserve grade and first grade is what you can do consistently, and we need to be better at being consistent."

Expect an exciting clash this Saturday at Raiders Belconnen with both teams hungry for success.

Woden Valley Rams vs Belconnen United Sharks, 3:00pm Saturday at Phillip Oval

The Woden Valley Rams are playing host to the Belconnen United Sharks this Saturday at Phillip Oval.

Standout performances included a hat-trick from Yuri Hromow, and two tries from Tristan Eldridge, who has made a name for himself as one of the top try-scorers of the competition so far.

The Goulburn City Bulldogs continue to search for their first win of the season. Fresh off a disappointing 48-8 loss to the Sharks, the Bulldogs have struggled to find consistency and find themselves at the bottom of the ladder.
