Last time they met

The Canberra Raiders defeated the Canterbury Bankstown Bulldogs 36-24 at GIO Stadium Canberra in Round 25 last season.

Key Match-Up

Ethan Strange vs Matt Burton

The battle of the five-eighths will be one which fans will be looking on with intrigue as the two will be instrumental in orchestrating a win for their respective side.

Despite playing only ten games, Ethan Strange has established a strong reputation as a strong ball carrier and an impressive defender.

The Raiders young gun has played every minute this year, in which he has scored one try, two try assists and averaging 72 running metres.

Matt Burton has propelled himself into the Origin conversation in the last fortnight and will be looking for a strong performance on Friday evening.

In nine games this season, the Bulldogs five-eighth has scored five tries, whilst setting up three and averaging 93 running metres a game.

For the opening game of Magic Round, this matchup will be key for either side in the quest to claim victory in round 11.

Head to Head

This will be the 42nd match between the two sides. The Raiders have 23 victories whilst the Bulldogs only have 18 wins.
