NSW Cup

The NSW Cup team secured a sensational 22-20 victory over the Magpies this weekend at Lidcombe Oval, Sydney.

The Magpies came out the blocks firing, holding a strong 20-6 halftime lead.

The Raiders had plenty to overcome but scored four consecutive tries to steal the victory in a nail biter.

Raiders winger Jed Stuart crossed the line to hit the front with ten minutes to go.

Raiders halfback Adam Cook held his composure, kicking three from four successful conversions to aid the team to victory.

The first-placed Raiders will look to build off this momentum coming up against Rabbitohs at Redfern Oval this weekend.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders Jersey Flegg Cup side claimed a nail biting 10-8 victory against the West Tigers on Saturday at Lidcombe Oval, Sydney.

A back and forth contest for both teams, Raiders fullback Peyton Jenkins was the first try scorer of the match.

Tigers winger Navren Willett scored a double in the contest, forcing a tight match between the two top four sides.

Shortly after, Raiders Lock Delahia Wigmore grounded the ball to give his side a two point lead.

Mitch Henderson was the difference for the Raiders, converting the only goal of the match to secure the two-point victory.

The Raiders will look to remain in top spot, when they host the Rabbitohs this Saturday at Raiders Belconnen.
