Raiders Sign Under 19s Origin Stars

The Canberra Raiders have announced the signings of three former NSW under 19s Origin stars, with Ethan Sanders, Myles Martin and Savelio Tamale all set to join the club for the beginning of the 2025 season.

Ethan Sanders (halfback) and Myles Martin (lock) have signed for three seasons, with Savelio Tamale (outside back) signing for two seasons.

All three players featured in the 2023 under 19s 32-14 origin win for NSW over Queensland, alongside current Raiders Ethan Strange, Chevy Stewart and Jake Clydsdale.

Raiders NRL Recruitment Manager Joel Carbone said the signing of the three talented young players would continue the Raiders' focus on attracting the best young players to the club and offering an opportunity to play in the NRL.

“We’re really excited to have Ethan, Myles and Savelio join us in 2025 and we know they have the talent and drive to take their games to the next level,” Carbone said.

“We’ve demonstrated that our club provides opportunity and a clear pathway to the NRL and we look forward to them joining us in 2025 and wish them all the best for the remainder of their seasons with their current clubs.”
