NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg: Round 18 Preview

The Raiders Jersey Flegg and NSW Cup sides will return home to kick-off a triple header against the Knights at GIO Stadium.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The first-placed Raiders will take on the third-placed Knights in what shapes up to be a red-hot battle with finals right around the corner.

Canberra are eyeing off their sixth straight win after the Knights enter this contest on a four-game win streak.

Last time these two sides met, it was the Raiders who fought off a strong Newcastle side to claim a 30-18 victory on the road.

Strike centres Regan Carr and Wilson De Coursey will be an exciting match-up as the pair go head-to-head after showing some strong form over the past month.

NSW Cup

The Raiders return home to take on the Knights in the NSW Cup, in a bid to return to their winning way.

The Raiders will put their 24-18 loss to the New Zealand Warriors behind them, as they look to put in a strong performance back at home.

Meanwhile the Knights are in a similar boat, entering this contest after a tough 30-8 loss at home to the Eels.

The Raiders have continued to fast track some of their rookies, which has seen Mark Tuialii, Owen Pattie and Jake Clydsdale all find themselves in the NSW Cup side on a weekly basis.

Both sides will look to their strike weapons which highlights the clash of outside backs James Schiller and Laitia Moceidreke, who both sit inside the top five try scorers in the competition.
