Raiders and Defence Housing Australia raise over $16,000 for Kookaburra Kids

The Canberra Raiders and match day partner Defence Housing Australia, have presented Kookaburra Kids with a total of $16,181.45 for funds raised during this year's ANZAC Round.

The Raiders and Defence Housing Australia auctioned off the player-cut jerseys for the match on April 28, with the proceeds from the jersey auction and the 50/50 charity raffle at game day added together to come up with the final amount.

The Australian Kookaburra Kids Foundation delivers the Defence Kids Program across Australia, which provides camps, activity days and age-appropriate mental health education focusing on coping skills and resilience, while allowing children to bond with peers who are facing similar challenges.
