Goulburn City Bulldogs 20 defeat Tuggeranong Bushrangers 8

The Goulburn City Bulldogs secured a twelve point victory over the Tuggeranong Bushrangers to secure their third win of the season.

It was a collective effort from the Bulldogs with four individual try scorers ensuring they walked away with an important two competition points.

A try-scoring double from Nirvana Ngan-woo wasn’t enough to mount a charge with the Bushrangers having to wait for their elusive second win of the season.

The Bulldogs will look for consecutive wins when they welcome the Belconnen United Sharks next weekend, while the Bushrangers face the Gungahlin Bulls at home.

Yass Magpies 40 defeat Queanbeyan Blues 12

The Yass Magpies charge for the top four continued with a comprehensive victory against the Queanbeyan Blues.

There were tries of plenty for the Magpies with Gabrielle Davis crossing for a hat-trick, while Lucy Prosser and Samara Afele troubling the scorers on two occasions.

In a disappointing morning which saw Queanbeyan slump to only their second loss of the year, centre Tyrah Nye was a shining light for the Blues scoring their two tries.

The Blues remain in third spot on the Katrina Fanning Shield ladder and will be looking to bounce back against the Woden Valley Rams, meanwhile the Magpies will have the week off to reflect on their win and rest for their finals push.

Woden Valley Rams 72 defeat Bungendore Kangaroos 4

The Woden Valley Rams secured a comprehensive victory over the Bungendore Kangaroos extending their lead at the top of the table.

The scorers had troubles keeping up with the Rams attack with the seventy-two point tally, their best of the season, courtesy of four tries from fullback Tamsyn Cairns and Lara Cosgrove scoring a hatrick and kicking eleven goals.

Five-eighth Emma Benson crossed for the only Bungendore try of the contest, with the side still aiming to secure their first win of the season.

The Rams welcome a strong Blues outfit to Phillip Oval next weekend in an intriguing top four clash, while the Kangaroos quest for their first win goes to Raiders Belconnen for a match against the Warriors.

Gungahlin Bulls 22 defeat West Belconnen Warriors 18

The Gungahlin Bulls have secured a tight four point victory over the West Belconnen Warriors in a result which held massive top four consequences.
