Katrina Fanning Shield: Washout Round Preview

The Katrina Fanning Shield is gearing up for four exciting clashes this Saturday as we revisit the washed out round one fixtures.

Queanbeyan Blues vs Gungahlin Bulls, 10:40am, Saturday at Seiffert Oval

The Queanbeyan Blues are set to face the Gungahlin Bulls at Seiffert Oval in what promises to be a thrilling top four encounter.

Following a defeat to the Goulburn City Bulldogs last round at Workers Arena, the Blues will be eager to bounce back at home and potentially jump to top spot on the ladder.

On the other hand, the Bulls have won three in a row after a dominant 32-nil victory over the Bungendore Kangaroos and will be looking to capitalise on their momentum.

Keep an eye on Gungahlin's Amelia Kiriui, who crossed for a double last weekend.

With both teams battling to fortify their post season standings, this clash is sure to be one to watch.

Belconnen United Sharks vs Bungendore Kangaroos, 12:00pm, Saturday at NSWRL HQ Bruce

The Belconnen United Sharks will be playing host to the Bungendore Kangaroos this Saturday at NSWRL HQ.

The Sharks will look to unlock their attack to secure the win this weekend, after showcasing impressive defence last week in their narrow 10-nil loss to the Rams.

Following a tough 32 point loss to the Bulls, the Kangaroos will need to regroup as they prepare to face a Sharks outfit that handed them a significant defeat in round 10.

This Saturday, both teams will be looking to bounce back from last week's losses and push for a strong finish to their seasons over the coming weeks.

Yass Magpies vs Tuggeranong Bushrangers, 12:00pm, Saturday at Walker Park

Walker Park will be filled with excitement as the Tuggeranong Bushrangers travel to face the Yass Magpies.

The fifth-placed Magpies will be itching to get on the field and ready to put in a strong performance after having last weekend off due to a forfeit.

The Bushrangers, coming off a bye, will also be fresh and ready to challenge the Magpies.

The Magpies will place strong emphasis on grabbing the two points as they eye off a spot in the top four.

Woden Valley Rams vs West Belconnen Warriors, 9:30am, Saturday at Phillip Oval

The table topping Woden Valley Rams will face off against the West Belconnen Warriors at Phillip Oval in what is expected to be a high-stakes top-four clash.

The Rams rebounded from their previous loss with a victory over the Sharks in a low scoring wet weather grind.

Rams fullback Lara Cosgrove was a standout, scoring six of the 10 points claimed on the day.

On the other hand, the defending premiers and third-placed Warriors will be eager to test themselves against this years league leaders.

The last time these two met in round 10, West Belconnen dominated 26-nil.

This match could have significant implications on the top-four standings as only two points separate these teams.
