After an exciting weekend of the Blumers Lawyers Katrina Fanning Shield, the top four teams are now tied on points, with the fifth-place trailing just two points behind.

Gungahlin Bulls 30 defeat Queanbeyan Blues 12 

The Gungahlin Bulls jumped to second spot on the ladder after claiming victory over the Queanbeyan Blues on Saturday at Seiffert Oval. 

Bulls players Lily Croker, Milikia Tuinakauvadra and Tijana Zdraveska were top performers, all securing doubles.

Having lost three of their last four games, the Blues, who were atop the table just a few weeks ago, have now dropped to fourth place.

With the top four teams all tied at 20 points, the next three rounds are crucial for these teams.

Belconnen United Sharks 38 defeat Bungendore Kangaroos 6

The Belconnen United Sharks secured a big 32 point win against Bungendore Kangaroos in front of a home crowd.

Sharks fullback Mya McGlynn continues to be integral for her side, scoring two tries and successfully converting three goals.

Lana Bobbine reached the try-line for the Roos, but they ultimately couldn't withstand the attacking strike of the Sharks.

With both the Sharks and the Kangaroos out of finals contention, they aim to finish the last three rounds of the season strongly.

Yass Magpies 28 defeat Tuggeranong Bushrangers 0

The Yass Magpies secured a well deserved 28-nil victory over the Tuggeranong Bushrangers on Saturday. 

Yass hooker Gabbie Davis was outstanding coming out of dummy half, scoring two tries on the day.

Having gone on a six-game win streak, Yass currently sits just two points behind the top four. They will look to secure a top-four spot in the coming weeks.

Meanwhile, the Bushrangers are out of finals contention, but they aim to push hard for more wins to end 2024 on a high note.

West Belconnen Warriors 16 defeat Woden Valley Rams 8 

The West Belconnen Warriors claimed a tight win over the Woden Valley Rams in an exciting top four clash.

Grace Tai was instrumental for the Warriors, claiming a double in a game where every point mattered. 

West Belconnen have slid into second spot on the ladder, currently sitting level on points with the first-placed Rams.

Both the Rams and the Warriors will look to cement their top two spots to have a lifeline come finals.
