NSW Cup & Jersey Flegg: Round 22 Preview

The Canberra Raiders lower grades travel to Sydney this weekend to take on the Bulldogs, where the Green Machine look to cement their positions in the top two.

NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup side will look to carry momentum from last week's big victory into Sunday's crucial clash with the Bulldogs at Belmore.

Canberra took care of the Rabbitohs at home last Sunday, putting in a dominant performance to come away with a 56-16 win.

Meanwhile, the Bulldogs knocked off the top of the table Bears 32-10, courtesy of an Eli Clark double.

The Raiders named mostly an unchanged side, where the experienced forward pack will look to lay an early platform led by captain Hohepa Puru.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Raiders Flegg side continue to fly high at the top of the ladder, where they meet a minor premiership contender in the Dogs on Saturday.

After a round bye, the Raiders will be refreshed and ready to lift their form as they approach the 2024 finals series.

They run into a Bulldogs side who have won seven of their last eight matches, looking to continue their impressive run of form coming into finals.

This match sets up to be a cracker as two sides get a good look at each other in what should be an early finals preview.
