The Raiders recorded a win and a loss in Sydney over the weekend, as the Cup & Flegg sides now both sit in the top two on the ladder with a month of footy left.

NSW Cup

The Raiders NSW Cup side fell short to the Bulldogs 22-12 at Belmore Sportsground on Sunday afternoon.

Both teams came out firing showcasing their attack with a 10-6 halftime score, shortly after the Bulldogs drove away in the second half.

The Raiders currently sit second on the ladder and look to remain in top position with five games left of the season.

The Raiders look to bounce back next weekend with a home game against Sea Eagles.

Jersey Flegg Cup

The Canberra Raiders Flegg Cup side claimed a phenomenal 36-18 victory over the Bulldogs on Saturday.

The Raiders came out of the blocks firing with four early tries, extending to a 24-10 halftime lead.

Raiders halfback Keahn Skipps made his mark, claiming a double in the contest with fullback Trae Bennetto converting six from six.

Canberra currently sit outright first on the ladder with a 16-4 record with four games left of the season.

The Raiders will look to remain consistent with a home game against the Sea Eagles on Saturday morning.
