The Canberra Raiders sit outright first in the NSW Cup and Jersey Flegg after strong victories over the Dragons on Sunday.

The Flegg side have secured the 2024 minor premiership for the first time since 1993.

The Canberra Raiders have secured the 2024 Jersey Flegg Cup minor premiership for the first time since 1993.

The Raiders secured a well-deserved 26-14 victory over the Dragons on Sunday afternoon.

It was a close contest with a two point deficit at half time as Canberra ran away with five tries in the second half to claim a 12 point victory.

Raiders are sitting at the top of the ladder and look to continue this streak into the final games of the season. 

Canberra will look to stay in top spot with a home game against the Penrith Panthers this Saturday at GIO Stadium.

NSW Cup

The Canberra Raiders NSW Cup team claimed a hard fought 28-12 win over the Dragons on Sunday afternoon.

Both sides came out firing as it was a back and forth contest with Canberra securing the 12-6 halftime lead.

Raiders winger Josh Billing was a standout performer, claiming a double in the contest as Mitch Henderson successfully kicked four goals.

Canberra will look to wrap up the minor premiership in the final two rounds as they look to carry some momentum into the finals series.

The Raiders will look to have the advantage with a home match against the Penrith Panthers this Saturday night at GIO Stadium.
