Dylan McLachlan wins the 2024 Les McIntyre Medal

Dylan McLachlan of the Queanbeyan Blues has won the 2024 Les McIntyre Medal, recognised as the best and fairest player of the Canberra Raiders Cup competition.

The talented halfback narrowly edged out finalists Sam Williams and Liam Oakley, securing the win by just two points.

McLachlan finished on top with 23 points, surpassing last year's McIntyre Medalist, Sam Williams, who polled 21 points.

McLachlan made his return to Rugby League this year after two seasons playing Rugby Union.

The 2024 Queanbeyan Blues recruit was given the captaincy role and has been instrumental in the club's dramatic turnaround.

Under his leadership, the Blues have risen from a seventh-place finish last year to secure a spot in the top two this season, putting them in a strong position to claim the title.

The Queanbeyan Blues swept all the first-grade awards presented on the night, a testament to the club's remarkable improvement from last year.
