It's all on the line for the Rams and Sharks, while the Queanbeyan rivals battle it out for a coveted spot in the Grand Final.

Minor Semi-Final: Woden Valley Rams vs Belconnen United Sharks, 3:00pm, Saturday at Greenway Oval

The season of either the Woden Valley Rams or Belconnen United Sharks will end this weekend in the minor semi-final.

The Rams finished third on the ladder, tied on points with the top two but had a worse for-and-against. They’ll take on the fourth-placed Sharks in a contest that has been tightly contested all year.

In round six, Woden claimed a narrow 16-10 victory, but the Sharks responded later in the season with a gritty 4-0 win.

This is the most crucial game of the year for both teams, as the winner advances to the preliminary final, while the loser will have to hang up their boots for the season.

Major Semi Final: Queanbeyan Kangaroos vs Queanbeyan Blues, 3:00pm, Sunday at Seears Workwear Oval

Seears Workwear Oval will be set a light by Queanbeyan locals as the town-rivals go head-to-head in the major semi final.

The Blues might have thought they’d secured the minor premiership with a dominant 50-12 victory last week, but the Roos snatched it away with a staggering 72-point win.

These top two sides have had the craziest matchups all season, with both of their encounters ending in thrilling draws - a 32-all tie in round two and a 24-all stalemate in round 11.

Each team boasts one of the best halfbacks in the competition. The Blues are led by Dylan McLachlan, this year's McIntyre Medalist, while the Roos have Sam Williams, last year's McIntyre Medalist and reigning premiership-winning halfback and captain-coach.

Both teams will be eager to finally determine a winner between these two sides and secure a spot in the Grand Final, while the loser will have a second chance in the preliminary final.
