Raiders win big at Brad Fittler Medal night

The Canberra Raiders have taken home an amazing four awards at the 2024 Brad Fittler Medal event, which recognises the achievements across the NSW Rugby League at all major competition levels.

Raiders players Adam Cook, Owen Pattie, Chevy Stewart and Jonah Anderson all collected awards for the club, on a night that showcased the rising talents within the club.

Brad Fittler Medal 2024 | Adam Cook

Adam Cook was named NSW Cup Player of the Year for his outstanding season in the Knock-On Effect NSW Cup. Cook’s achievement was even more impressive considering he played 17 of 26 matches due to his appearances at NRL level this season.

Rising star Owen Pattie was also named Player of the Year in the Jersey Flegg Competition, with the Raiders hooker playing 15 matches in the Flegg Competition and nine matches in the NSW Cup.

Chevy Stewart received the under 19’s State of Origin Player of the Match for NSW’s win over Queensland in this year's fixture, while Jonah Anderson was named Laurie Daley Cup Player of the Year.

The awards highlight the Raiders recruitment and development program, with some of the best young talent in the club winning major awards at lower grade level and follow on from last year's awards event where Ethan Strange (under 19’s Origin Player of the Year) and Xavier Cacciotti (Laurie Daley Cup Player of the Year) collected top honours.
