Raiders NRLW fullback Apii Nicholls will depart the club at the end of the 2024 season to take up an opportunity at another club.
The Canberra Raiders would like to thank Apii for her wonderful contribution to the club over the past two seasons including the club’s inaugural NRLW season in 2023 in her role as a foundation player and vice-captain of the team.
Raiders NRLW coach Darrin Borthwick said Apii has been a wonderful contributor in the club’s first two seasons in the NRLW competition and will be remembered as one of the club’s foundation players.
“Apii joined us for our inaugural season in 2023 and her professionalism and leadership has helped us establish the foundations for years to come,” Borthwick said.
“Apii has indicated to us that she will be moving on from the club due to family reasons and we support her decision.
“She will always be remembered as one of the club’s foundation NRLW players and we wish her all the best for the future.”
