Dummett and Ryan to feature in Mounties semi final

Raiders NRLW squad members Alanna Dummett and Ella Ryan have been named in the Mounties team to play against the Illawarra Steelers in the Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership semi final on Saturday.

The Raiders NRLW squad has provided nine players to feeder club Mounties throughout the season, with Ryan playing eight matches throughout the competition in the halves and centres.

Dummett has played three games for Mounties so far this year, as well as two NRLW games earlier in the season.

Mounties are looking to defend their title in 2024 after their thrilling 1-0 win over the Bulldogs in the 2023 Harvey Norman NSW Women’s Premiership grand final.

Dummett was part of that grand final win alongside Raiders teammates Simaima Taufa, Sereana Naitokatoka, Tommaya Kelly-Sines and Kerehitina Matua.

Mounties will meet the Steelers at 4.45pm on Saturday at Leichhardt Oval with the winner to play on NSWRL Grand Final day next Sunday at Commbank Stadium.

The Canberra Raiders wish Dummett, Ryan and the whole Mounties team the best of luck in their semi final on Saturday.
