A Season of Impact for the Raiders 50-50 Program

The Canberra Raiders' 50-50 charity program had an outstanding season this year, generating $100,000 to support the Canberra community.

The 50-50 program has been running for the last five years, supporting over 40 local Canberra charities and organisations.

Funds are raised at every Raiders home game throughout the season, with 50 percent of the prize pool going to one lucky ticket holder drawn at random at each home game.

The remaining 50 percent of the prize pool goes directly towards the charity that is represented on that particular game day.

Over the last five years, the Raiders has helped raise over a staggering $300,000.

Longstanding community partner Menslink took part in the 50-50 program this year, with Mentor Manager David Parkers saying that the experience was very beneficial to them.

“Menslink is thrilled to participate in the 50-50 raffle with the Canberra Raiders. It provides us with such a unique opportunity to interact directly with the Canberra region and promote our work whilst also providing an opportunity for the young fellas and families we work with to get involved and meet the people that support them,” Parkers said.

“Being a part of it is not only a great fundraiser for us but such a great awareness raiser and run so well by the Raiders staff and 50-50 raffle team which makes it a great experience for everyone involved!”

The Canberra Raiders have supported the below organisations this 2024 season through the 50-50 program:

  • Rise AboveCBR
  • Fortem Australia
