Draw release sparks Membership spike

The Canberra Raiders members have spoken, with an unprecedented spike in club membership following on from the 2025 draw announcement.

The Raiders membership tally has gone past 14,000 ahead of the 2025 season, with hundreds of members renewing or joining the club off the back of the NRL and NRLW draw announcement on Thursday.

With an exciting home draw jam packed with blockbusters and family friendly timeslots, the Raiders faithful have decided 2025 will be a huge year at GIO Stadium Canberra.

The 2025 draw features 12 NRL home matches (11 NRL in Canberra) including three NRL/NRLW doubleheaders, two standalone NRLW fixtures and of course the Raiders season opener in Las Vegas.

Raiders CEO Don Furner said the show of faith in the club this far out from the season was wonderful to see and encouraged more fans to make the move to become members in 2025.

“There’s obviously plenty of excitement with the release of the NRL and NRLW draws yesterday and we’ve been able to see plenty of people sign up for memberships as a result of a great home draw,” Furner said.

“With nine NRL home games in Canberra on Saturday or Sunday in 2025 and three NRL/NRLW double headers, we’ve seen a big lift in membership numbers.

“The competition for members to win a trip to Las Vegas has also seen members jump on board for 2025 and we can’t wait to see as many members make that trip to Vegas with us early next year."
