It was another challenging weekend for the Monaro Colts, falling short in both the Andrew Johns Cup and Laurie Daley Cup against the Macarthur Wests Tigers on Sunday at NSWRL HQ.
The Andrew Johns Cup side was outplayed from the outset, suffering a heavy 36-4 defeat, while the Laurie Daley Cup team saw a commanding 22-6 halftime lead slip away in a 30-22 loss.
Still searching for their first win of the season, both teams will look to bounce back in Round Three against the Western Rams in Mudgee.

In a game of two halves, Monaro built a strong first-half lead before Macarthur stormed home to snatch victory in the second.

The Colts extended their lead to 22-6 before the break with powerful close-range carries from Thomas Handsaker and Jaylan May.
However, Macarthur took control in the second half, piling on five unanswered tries to complete a stunning comeback.
