With only two weeks left until finals, round eight of the junior reps competitions kick off on Saturday with three teams travelling to Sydney, while the Harold Matts will stay local to take on the Bears.

Westpac Lisa Fiaola Cup

The Raiders Lisa Fiaola side will travel to Redfern Oval to take on the Rabbitohs this Sunday.

Last round the Raiders showed their team strength, dominating the Bears with a 30-4 victory.

Canberra currently sits ninth on the ladder and with finals looming they will be looking for another strong performance this weekend to push themselves into the top 8.

The Raiders will be switching up their interchange and reserves with Mila Cappello and Shayleen Coe returning for this weekend’s clash.

The Rabbitohs are out of finals contention but will still be looking disturb Canberra’s hopes.

Westpac Tarsha Gale Cup

The Raiders TG Cup side will also travel to Redfern Oval this Sunday for their clash against the Rabbitohs.

Last weekend the Raiders came back from a huge deficit at halftime to secure a nail-biting 26-24 win over the Bears at home to keep their finals hopes alive.

After round seven, Canberra sits ninth on the ladder and will be looking to win their next two games to secure their spot in the top eight.

The Raiders will keep the same 17 for this weekend.

The Rabbitohs fell to the Panthers last weekend diminishing their finals hopes.

UNE Harold Matthews Cup

The Raiders Harold Matts side will be taking on the Bears at home for their round eight clash on Saturday.

Last week Canberra couldn’t secure the win against the Roosters at home, falling 28-16.

The Raiders currently sit 11th on the ladder and will be looking for a stronger performance in this week’s must-win game to keep their finals hopes alive.

The Bears sit just ahead of Canberra in tenth place and are also looking to win their next two games to have any glimpse of a finals campaign this season.

Raiders’ coach Peter Marrapodi has not made any changes to this week’s line-up.

UNE SG Ball Cup

The Raiders SG Ball Cup side will travel to Jubilee Stadium to take on the Dragons this Sunday.

Last weekend Canberra just fell short to the Storm, losing 30-26 in Melbourne.

The loss moved the Raiders from their top four position to fifth on the ladder. Although they are currently in the top eight, the Raiders will need to win both of their next games to cement their finals spot as multiple teams are on their tail.

Their weekend opponents, the Dragons, are out of finals contention but will also be looking to disrupt the Raiders finals hopes.

Coach Rourke O’Sullivan has maintained an unchanged line-up with no reserve bench named.
