Biography:

Morgan Smithies had a great debut season in the NRL, making the move from English Super League club Wigan Warriors to the Raiders on a three-year deal.

The lock-forward quickly established himself as a hard-worker, finishing just outside the top 10 in the NRL for total tackles made.

Smithies played and started in all 24 games for the Raiders in the 2024 season, forming a strong combination with fellow forwards Josh Papalii and Joe Tapine.

Smithies eyes off an even stronger 2025 season, after gaining International selection for England in their tri-series victory over Samoa.
